Bel-Tronics Expands Radar Detector Line

Bel-Tronics Limited has added a pair of radar/laser detectors and announced that the Safety Warning System is now standard on all its detectors. The Bel 845STi and Bel 830i are new detectors with high-end displays. Features include:
• Total Tracking Laser for front, rear, and off-axis detection of laser signals.
• High-power mini speakers for audio alerts.
• Shadow Technology (on the 845STi) for immunity to the Interceptor VG-2 radar detector.
• VG-2 Guard (on the 830i) for immunity to VG-2 detection.

SWS STANDARD
All new Bel-Tronics detectors now are standard with Safety Warning System (SWS) capability.
SWS incorporates a number of transmitters set up in areas such as construction sites, railroad crossings, or other areas which pose potential safety threats.
The transmitters broadcast microwave signals which provide 60 different safety-related warnings or messages when detected. Bel detectors provide warnings using LEDs, a digital display, or a text display in conjunction with an audio tone.
