Pennsylvania Aims To Recycle Used Oil
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has introduced a public-private partnership to increase recycling of the 28 million gallons of oil and 15.3 million light duty oil filters sold in the commonwealth each year.
The partnership involves state agencies, industry manufacturers, the recycling community and trade associations. The effort will include public service announcements, recycling workshops, World Wide Web coverage on used oil/used oil filter recycling and recycling promotions.
For more information, call Bill LaCour, Pennsylvania Used Oil Recovery Coordinator, (717) 787-7382.
