Shenandoah’s 500,000 Btu, used-oil fired heater has gained some design improvements from its manufacturer. The heat exchanger has been enlarged and is fabricated with aluminum steel larger doors for easier maintenance. A swingout mounting helps make the burner easier to clean, and the new CDVF metering pump performs at a consistent rate regardless of fluid viscosity, manufacturer says. Also, a long-life refractory target has been installed and the unit is now listed with UL, CSA and C-UL for sale in Canada.
