BRAKE TESTER

The briefcase-sized thermal brake tester TBT100 takes thermal readings from wheel lugnuts and downloads information from a portable handset to a computer-linked base unit to assess brake effectiveness. The unit’s handset and base unit both operate on batteries to provide axle-by-axle brake condition, axle-to-axle braking effort and ambient departure, pass, check or fail conditions as well as time, technician and vehicle identification number.
