Innovative's Testing Lab
Innovative Computing Corp., Oklahoma City, OK, has opened its testing lab for transportation software. Companies that are unsure of year 2000 fixes can use the lab to test software that runs on IBM AS/400s. Innovative is providing the service to former customers that have chosen to have a third-party provide a year 2000 solution. Pro-Link 9000 Update
Micro Processor Systems, Sterling Heights, MI, has released updated software for its Pro-Link 9000 Scan Tool. The 1997 GFC Cartridge provides expanded capability to diagnose OBDII systems, General Motors, Ford and Daimler Chrysler vehicles, along with medium duty truck applications. Simulator Contract
I-Sim Corp., Murray, UT, will deliver two driving simulators to the CommercialTrucking Academy of Bossier City, LA. One I-Sim/Eaton TranSim transmission simulator and one I-Sim Mark 1 simulator with a Freightliner cab to train students. The I-Sim/Eaton TranSim unit will teach students to shift. The other unit will include an actual cab and feature databases with scenery from freeway, city and rural roads.
