Shell Synthetic Rotella T

      Shell has introduced its first fully synthetic heavy-duty engine oil, Rotella T Synthetic. The lube combines outstanding cold-temperature starting and advanced soot-handling capacity, according to the company. It helps prolong engine life, even in extreme conditions.
      By using Shell synthetic base oil technology, Rotella T Synthetic flows better than conventional mineral oils under cold start conditions, resulting in less wear on start-up and easier starting throughout the service period, with little to no viscosity breakdown.
      Rotella T Synthetic is also claimed to help maximize fuel economy; provides outstanding wear protection; withstands extreme heat; has low volatility; and offers excellent oxidation stability.
      Rotella T Synthetic 5W-40 is available in drums, 5-gallon pails, gallon jugs, and quart bottles through Shell's extensive distributor network, truckstops, mass merchandisers, and automotive retailers nationwide.
