Ultimate Linings is a non-skid, spray-on liner for full-size truck trailer or straight-truck applications. Predominantly used 'til now for pickup truck bed liners, the surface protecting spray-on polyurethane is claimed versatile enough to fit into any trucking operation. According to Ultimate Linings, which claims to be the leader in the field, the product works, adds to the appearance of a truck and can be supplied color-matched to the truck.
Once applied, the non-cracking material is abrasion and impact resistant, easy to maintain and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. It adds less than a pound per square foot, and often takes less than a day to install.
Trailer Immobilizer
The HOC-LOC is a microprocessor-controlled system that attaches to the trailer and prevents it from being moved unless the driver enters a code. It locks automatically when the trailer brakes are set and uses no keys that can be lost or copied.

Lightweight Steel Wheel
Accuride Corporation has introduced a 65-lb. lightweight steel wheel made from high-strength, low-alloy steel and designed to offer the economy and strength of a standard steel wheel and weigh similar to an aluminum wheel.
When replacing a standard steel wheel, weighing 82 lbs., Accuride's new wheel would reduce overall truck and trailer weight by 306 lbs. In addition, since the wheel has a 10 hand-hole design that is similar to the industry standard aluminum, it can replace an aluminum wheel as an inner dual, with no appearance change and at a significant cost savings.
Accuride's 22.5 in. x 8.25 in. HSLA Light Weight Steel Wheel is available for standard hub-mount applications and is powder topcoated in standard white, gray, or black with custom colors available. The wheel has a maximum load rating of 7,400 lbs.
