Peterbilt's New Model 379X
Making its debut at the Mid-America Trucking Show was Peterbilt's new Model 379X.
"The Model 379X embodies the owner-operator spirit of independence, freedom and individuality," said Nick Panza, general manager and Paccar vice president.
Polished aluminum-on-chrome special edition themes are incorporated into every detail of the truck, from the special edition logos on the sleeper sides to the X-spoke design of the steering wheel.
The Model 379X exterior is equipped with exclusive design accents and chrome exterior accessories, including:
Unique, polished aluminum fenders
Polished aluminum centerline hood trim
Coordinating, punched "Peterbilt oval" grille and air cleaner intake screen
Polished aluminum grille bars
7-inch chromed exhaust stacks
LED auxiliary lighting for the cab, sleeper, air cleaner and rear light-bar assembly
Chromed Texas-style bumper
Extended stainless steel sunvisor
Model 379X special edition logos on each side of the sleeper
Model 379X interior features include:
Brushed aluminum dash panels
Coordinating brushed aluminum cab and sleeper trim
Stylized, four-spoke, "X-style" steering wheel
Custom leather UltraRide seats
Chromed shift lever, knob and base plate with the Model 379X logo
Charcoal cabinetry and interior trim
