TMI at a Glance
TMI's carrier services include TripPak Express, a service provided in conjunction with Airborne Express. Customer truck drivers drop completed trip documents in the yellow TripPak boxes at any of 1,200 truckstops around the country. Drop boxes are also located in many distribution centers and carrier terminals. Documents are expressed to the desired location, to the carrier headquarters, to a third party or to TripPak's central scanning center in Wilmington, Ohio.
TMI's Ohio center provides TripPak Scanning, the first level of centralized scanning. A service called TripPak Online provides added sophistication - dedicated communications links for example - for larger scanning customers.
According to TMI's Mark Cleveland, centralized scanning isn't practical for very small fleets, so TMI offers TripPak Overnight, prepaid document envelopes that can be addressed and left in any TripPak drop box. The envelopes, available at many truckstops and provided by some carriers, will be delivered the following day by Airborne and are good for business or personal use.
TripPak also offers fuel desk scanning at truckstops, including Travel Centers of America and Petro Stopping Centers.
Finally TMI MultiMedia offers consulting, marketing and advertising services to motor carriers, both to promote services and recruit drivers.
