High-Lift Kit For Vocational Suspension

      ArvinMeritor has announced a high-lift kit for its RFS vocational suspension. The kit joins a 30,000-pound-capacity model added earlier this year to he RFS range for dump and other vocational trailers.
      The lift kit, now available for the 25,000-pound RFS25T and 30,000-pound RFS30T and RFS30HT, raises axles an extra three to five inches, depending on ride height. This compensates for heavy loads and allows wheels and tires to rise completely of pavement during tight turns.
      RFS models use trailing-arm design. Bushings have interleaf shims for excellent fore and aft stiffness. Heavy-duty shock absorbers damp out vibrations for good braking, handling and ride quality, and long tire life.
