Ford
Base engine for the F-650 and F-750 will be Cummins' enlarged 6.7-liter ISB, with ratings up to 325 horsepower. The 6-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel disappears in January, and its 6.4-liter replacement will not be offered in Ford's Class 6 and Class 7 trucks. Caterpillar's C7 will be optional. A heavier-duty 14,000-pound steer axle will be available, which is especially useful on snowplow trucks. As before (and with all F-series trucks), the F-650/750 will be available with two-door Regular, four-door Super and four-door Crew Cabs, and with a variety of wheelbases and behind-cab dimensions. Changing exhaust-system tailpipes is not recommended, but if you do, keep the same back pressure, and don't run the pipe to the opposite side of the chassis.
